H.Res. 908 – Condemning all forms of anti-Asian sentiment as related to COVID-19 (Rep. Meng – Judiciary)

This resolution calls on all public officials to condemn and denounce any and all anti-Asian sentiment in any form; recognizes that the health and safety of all Americans, no matter their background, must be of utmost priority; condemns all manifestations of expressions of racism, xenophobia, discrimination, anti-Asian sentiment, scapegoating, and ethnic or religious intolerance; calls on federal law enforcement officials, with state and local officials to take targeted actions; and recommits United States leadership in building more inclusive, diverse, and tolerant societies.

H.R. 2694 – Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (Rep. Nadler – Education and Labor)

This bipartisan bill establishes a pregnant worker’s clear-cut right to reasonable workplace accommodations, provided they do not impose an undue burden on their employer.
