H. Res. 124 – Expressing opposition to banning service in the Armed Forces by openly transgender individuals (Rep. Kennedy – Armed Services)

This resolution puts the House on record opposing the President’s transgender military ban, rejects the flawed scientific claims upon which it was belatedly based and strongly urges the Department of Defense to maintain an inclusive policy allowing qualified transgender Americans to enlist and serve in the U.S. military.

The Rule provides for one hour of debate equally divided and controlled by the Chair and Ranking Member of the Armed Services Committee.
