  1. H.R. 2114 – Enhancing State Energy Security Planning and Emergency Preparedness Act of 2019 (Rep. Rush – Energy and Commerce)

This bill reauthorizes the Department of Energy’s (DOE) State Energy Program and improves the physical and cyber security of our fuel and electric infrastructure by requiring states to include a State Energy Security Plan as a condition for receiving funding under the plan. The legislation also increases funding for the program.

  1. H.R. 1760 – Advanced Nuclear Fuel Availability Act (Rep. Flores – Energy and Commerce)

This bill supports the development of advanced nuclear reactors in the United States by ensuring safe and reliable access to the fuels needed to operate them.

  1. H.R. 1768 – Diesel Emissions Reduction Act of 2019 (Rep. Matsui – Energy and Commerce)

This bill reauthorizes an incentive program designed to protect public health and improve air quality by decreasing harmful emissions from diesel engines.

  1. H.R. 1420 – Energy Efficient Government Technology Act (Rep. Eshoo – Energy and Commerce)

This bill promotes energy efficiency across the federal government by encouraging the adoption of energy-efficient and energy-saving information technologies across all agencies and federally-operated facilities.
