This resolution condemns medical practices at the Irwin County Detention Center (ICDC), in Ocilla, Georgia, which may have resulted in unwanted and unnecessary surgeries that, in some cases, are reported to have resulted in life altering injuries to the reproductive health of immigrant women held at that facility.

The Rule provides for one hour of debate equally divided and controlled by the Chair and Ranking Member of the Committee on Judiciary.

Complete Consideration of H.Res. 1154Condemning QAnon and rejecting the conspiracy theories it promotes (Rep. Malinowski – Judiciary)

This resolution expresses the House’s condemnation of conspiracy theories propagated by QAnon and other groups, which undermine democratic institutions and exacerbate political polarization.  The resolution also calls upon federal law enforcement agencies to redouble efforts to prevent violence, threats, harassment, and intimidation stemming from such fringe conspiracy theories, encourages the intelligence community to investigate any foreign support for QAnon, and urges Americans to seek information from authoritative sources and engage in political debate from a common factual foundation.
