Floor Schedule and Procedure:

H.R. 2339 – Protecting American Lungs and Reversing the Youth Tobacco Epidemic Act of 2019 (Rep. Pallone – Energy and Commerce/Ways and Means)

This bill prohibits the manufacture and sale of all flavored tobacco products and requires the removal of all flavored e-cigarette products from the market within 30 days. The bill makes it unlawful to market, advertise, or promote e-cigarettes to individuals under the age of 21, and directs the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to prohibit non-face-to-face sales of certain tobacco products. The bill also requires FDA to extend marketing and advertising restrictions that currently apply to cigarettes and smokeless tobacco to other tobacco products as well, including e-cigarettes.

H.R. 2819 – Gold Star Mothers Families National Monument Extension Act, as amended (Rep. Kim – Natural Resources)

This bill extends the authorization for the establishment of the Commemorative Work to Gold Star Mothers Families, originally authorized in the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2013 (P.L. 112-239, Sec. 2859), by an additional four years to January 2, 2024.
