This resolution expresses a sense of the House of Representatives in support of efforts to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict through a negotiated two-state solution and resolves that only a two-state solution which enhances stability and security in the Middle East can both ensure Israel’s survival as a secure Jewish and democratic state and fulfill the legitimate aspirations of the Palestinian people for a state of their own.

Complete Consideration of H.R. 4 – Voting Rights Advancement Act of 2019 (Rep. Sewell – Judiciary)

This bill seeks to restore Section 4 of the Voting Rights Act by developing a process to determine which states and localities with a recent history of voting rights violations over the last 25 years must preclear election changes with the Department of Justice.
