Whip Emmer Hosts Pizza for Police in Celebration of National Police Week

WASHINGTON – Majority Whip Tom Emmer today hosted Pizza for Police in celebration of National Police Week. Whip Emmer was joined by over 250 law enforcement officers, members of law enforcement organizations, and Members of Congress.

“It was a privilege to host some of our nation’s brave law enforcement officers,” said Whip Emmer. “We will forever be indebted to those who courageously put their lives on the line to keep our communities safe. House Republicans will always stand with our men and women in blue, even as Democrats continue to push their pro-crime, anti-police agenda.”

Law enforcement organizations represented include International Association of Chiefs of Police, Major County Sheriffs of America, National Association of Police Organizations, National Association of Women Law Enforcement Executives (NAWLEE), and National Sheriffs' Association.
