He's rebuilding the economy brick by brick…People are right now going to see more money in their pockets over the next three months. Their returns are going to be 11% higher. They're going to see real money because of doubling the standard tax deduction. No taxes on tips, no taxes on overtime. Wages, this is the part that nobody ever talks about. Yes, some prices are coming down. You've seen gas at their lowest price in five years, gasoline. You've seen eggs come back down. You saw Pepsi reduce the price of snacks by 15% across the board. But when we talk about prices after inflation that hit a high of over 9% under Joe Biden, prices go up. They don't usually come down. What goes up are wages and wages are going up. People are going to see more money in their pocket. And you have growth. You had 4.3% growth in the third quarter of last year before the Working Families Tax Cuts even became law. They're projecting over 5% growth this quarter. If that continues, Joe, I feel good about the midterms.” Whip Emmer on border security: “I will tell you, my state, contrary to what you see coming out of Minneapolis, is very grateful for President Trump's leadership—getting 4,000 illegals, including a lot of murderers, rapists, drug dealers, pedophiles off the streets, and then finding another 3,000 missing migrant children that were lost by the Biden administration. Joe, that's pretty amazing for such a small place like Minnesota…Look, I think he's going to tell you and he should take a victory lap on closing the border. This is one of the main things he ran on was he's going to close that border that Joe Biden left wide open and let millions of illegals come across our southern border in particular. He's going to talk about how that's at an all-time low and they've achieved success there, but they've got a lot of work to do. I would imagine he's going to tout the successes around the country where they literally have been removing the worst of the worst—places like Minneapolis, places like Chicago, where he's running into bad leadership that are literally fighting the federal government rather than working together. All because of why, Joe? Because they just don't like Donald Trump. They got to start listening to their taxpaying citizens and their safety, and I think that's something the president might refer to.” |
