House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-Minn.) today announced key stakeholder support for Representative Chip Roy’s (R-Texas) SAVE America Act, which restores the integrity of America’s election system by requiring a government-issued photo ID to cast a ballot and proof of citizenship to register to vote.

Requiring photo voter ID and prohibiting noncitizen voting in are strong reforms that restore voter confidence. American law can and must protect the voting process and ensure that it be a privilege held by, and only held by, the American citizen—and that's exactly what the Save America Act does.”

CatholicVote:

Election Integrity Network and Only Citizens Vote Coalition:
