The business community is praising House Majority Whip Tom Emmer’s (R-Minn.) action to coalesce stakeholders around House Republicans’ agenda, according to a new report from Axios. This comes in light of the Whip office’s recent visits with top multi-client consulting firms to maintain a direct line of communication between the business industry and House Republican leadership. The Whip office has held 22 meetings so far, with three more scheduled for January.
