1. H.R. 6270 – AAIM Act, as amended (Rep. Larsen – Transportation and Infrastructure)

This bill establishes a two-year pilot program that invests $25 million in competitive grants for state, local, territorial, and Tribal governments to prepare for the development and deployment of advanced air mobility (AAM) vertiports and related infrastructure.

2. S. 516 – Advanced Air Mobility Coordination and Leadership Act (Sen. Moran – Transportation and Infrastructure)

This bill would establish an advanced air mobility (AAM) interagency working group at the U.S. Department of Transportation, comprised of federal departments and agencies, the public sector, civil aviation industry leaders, labor unions, and other relevant stakeholders to evaluate, plan, and coordinate efforts to help advance U.S. leadership in the emerging AAM industry.

3. H.R. 2020 – Post-Disaster Assistance Online Accountability Act (Rep. Gonzalez-Colon – Transportation and Infrastructure)

This bill would create a new system for tracking federal disaster projects and assistance by establishing a single online repository to report information about federal disaster assistance.

4. H.R. 7211 – Small State and Rural Rescue Act (Rep. Katko – Transportation and Infrastructure)

This bill would expand and codify the responsibilities of FEMA’s Small State and Rural Advocate when helping state and local officials demonstrate localized impact and apply for federal disaster aid. 

5. S. 3580 – Ocean Shipping Reform Act of 2022 (Sen. Klobuchar – Transportation and Infrastructure)

This bill bolsters the enforcement capabilities of the Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) by establishing a shipping exchange registry through the FMC, authorizing an independent process for detention and demurrage practices, and providing safeguards to combat retaliation and deter unfair business practices.
